Pembroke Park is the main hub for disc golf in Wanaka. This 18-hole course is well-maintained and offers a mix of open fairways and wooded areas. The terrain is mostly flat, making it accessible for players of all ages and skill levels.


What to Expect

  • Scenic views: The course overlooks Wanaka town and the lake, providing epic water views on several holes.

Just a short drive from Wanaka, Albert Town offers a smaller but challenging 9-hole disc golf course. It’s less crowded and perfect for a quick round or practice session.

  • This course can be challenging, it can be quite overgrown and difficult to navigate, but it is tremendous fun.

Hidden in the Pines: The Eely Point Disc Golf Course in Wānaka


This course is my personal favourite. A wonderful place for an evening game with all the family.


If you’re heading to the spectacular lakeside town of Wānaka and packing your favorite plastic, you’re likely familiar with the sweeping, wide-open views of the famous Lismore Park layout. But if you walk just a few minutes down Lakeside Road to the Eely Point Recreational Reserve, you’ll discover a completely different beast: the Eely Point Disc Golf Course.

Established in 2017, this free-to-play, 9-hole technical gem is the ultimate test of precision, placement, and mental fortitude. It trading out Lismore’s massive elevation shifts for tight, unforgiving gaps carved right through a beautiful, mature pine forest.
